The Unlocking Healthcare survey on barriers to medical device repair in Canada will be closing this Friday.
This is a final opportunity for biomedical and clinical engineers (BME/CEs), biomedical engineering technologists and technicians (BMETs), and independent service professionals to contribute their insights to this national study.
The research focuses on understanding how technical restrictions, legal frameworks, and service limitations affect the repair and maintenance of software-dependent medical devices, and how these challenges may impact healthcare delivery across Canada.
If you have not yet participated, we encourage you to complete the survey before it closes on July 17, 2026.
We thank all those who have already contributed their time and expertise to this project.
