The Unlocking Healthcare survey on medical device repair in Canada is currently open, and we invite eligible participants to share their perspectives.
This study aims to build a clearer picture of the barriers faced by professionals involved in the servicing and maintenance of software-dependent medical devices. Input from those working directly with this equipment is essential to ensuring that the research reflects real-world experiences across Canadian healthcare settings.
If you are a biomedical or clinical engineer (BME/CE), biomedical engineering technologist or technician (BMET), or an independent service professional, your participation would be greatly valued.
The survey remains open until July 17, 2026, and responses are confidential. Findings from this research will contribute to ongoing discussions around policy, repair access, and healthcare system sustainability in Canada.
